The client is responsible for providing the conditions for the Interactive Paper to work as detailed below.
The Interactive Papers operate smoothly for a duration of two years under proper handling and diligent usage. It is imperative that the papers remain unaltered, undamaged, and shielded from adverse environmental conditions. Specifically, the papers must not be subjected to bending, cutting, exposure to excessive heat or cold, lamination, moisture, or pressure from heavy objects. In instances of mailing, the interactive paper necessitates protection through envelopment.
- Age: The performance of the Interactive Paper may be affected after more than two years since the production. The two-year period begins on the contractually agreed date.
- Humidity: Excessive humidity can impair the functionality of the Interactive Paper. It should be stored in a dry environment.
- Surface Material: The NFC technology integrated into the Interactive Paper cannot operate effectively when placed on a metallic surface, such as a metal table.
- Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is essential for seamless operation. A minimum download speed of 25 Mbps is recommended, although lower speeds may still enable basic functionality.
- Phone Cases: Thick phone cases may hinder the usability of the Interactive Paper. Users are advised to use thinner phone cases for optimal performance.
- Device Security Measures: Certain stringent security measures on corporate phones, particularly iPhones, may impact the usability of the Interactive Paper. This is particularly relevant for the background download of a temporary App Clip required for the Interactive Paper experience on iPhones.
The Interactive Papers may be stored for a duration of 24 months without detriment to their functionality, provided they are maintained under specific conditions. The papers must be stored in a dry environment, with the storage facility ensuring a relative air humidity level not exceeding 82%.
