Personalization is a core pillar of effective engagement in the Let’s Interact platform. It enables you to deliver interactive experiences that speak directly to each recipient by dynamically inserting individual data into both the printed material and digital experiences.
This article explains how to:
Upload and manage personalization data
Insert dynamic fields into interactive content
Track recipient interactions and personalization effectiveness
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
1. Accessing the Personalization Section
From your campaign’s main interface:
Navigate to the Personalization tab.
This section allows you to upload recipient data and view or edit existing personalization information.
Ensure all columns are filled correctly. Formatting errors will prevent successful upload.
Add a caption...
2. Uploading Personalization Data
To upload your data:
Click “Download Template” to receive a pre-structured Excel (.xlsx) file.
The template includes fields like:
Salutation (e.g., Mr., Ms., Dear)
Title Preceding (e.g., Dr.)
First Name
Last Name
Title Following (e.g., MSc.)
Gender
Address details (Street, Number, City, State, Country, etc.)
Fill in the sheet with correct and validated data.
Double-check for formatting issues, typos, or missing fields—these can cause upload errors.
Once complete, click “Upload Data” in the same tab to import the file.
Important Note: Once production begins for your campaign, editing or deleting personalization entries is locked. Always verify the list beforehand.
Personalizing Interactive Content
Once data is uploaded, you can embed it directly into your interactive experiences:
How it works:
Interactive Content Editor: Start typing @ inside any text field to bring up a list of available personalization fields.
Select Fields: Choose fields such as {{firstName}}, {{titlePreceding}}, etc., which will be dynamically replaced during the recipient’s experience.
Tip: Use personalization fields to enhance user engagement.
Example:
If your quiz start screen title says:
SampleQuiz{{firstName}}
Recipient's Name Display
The quiz will display the name:
Marie
SampleQuizMarie
This creates a direct and emotionally resonant interaction right from the start.

Viewing & Tracking Personalization Performance
Once your campaign is live and interactions begin, head to the Data Dashboard for detailed tracking:
What You’ll See:
A list of all recipients
Number of interactions per person
Time spent engaging with the content
Last interaction timestamp
Exact path of interaction
Add a caption...
Clicking on a recipient gives you a detailed view that includes:
Personalization details used (name, salutation, etc.)
A timeline of touchpoints (e.g., quizzes taken, buttons clicked)
Duration spent on each interaction
This makes it easy to:
Understand user behavior
Analyze the impact of personalization
Optimize future content and campaigns
Tip: Data visibility is subject to cookie consent. Without consent, some user activity may remain anonymous.
Use Cases & Best Practices
Use Cases:
Personalize greetings in quizzes or product demos.
Insert unique discount codes.
Reference a user’s previous actions or preferences.
Target messaging based on titles or location.
Best Practices:
Always validate data before uploading.Mistyped or missing fields can break the personalization logic.
Use fallback text if possible. This ensures your message doesn’t appear broken if a field is missing.
A/B test personalization types.Compare messages with names versus generic ones to assess impact.
Maintain data privacy.Only collect what you need and ensure compliance with GDPR and other privacy laws.
Combine personalization with automation.Use rules or scripts to batch-generate personalization fields like referral codes or coupon values.
